The Mighty Overview
- Ease of Use
Storz and Bickel continues their impressive streak with the Mighty Vaporizer. This things drips awesome-sauce.
Just like its name implies, the Mighty Vaporizer is seriously one hell of a mighty vape indeed.
The bigger brother of the Crafty Vaporizer, the Mighty is just a little bit bigger, but comes packed with an even bigger punch.
Let’s take a closer look at this guy and see what he’s made of – here’s my Mighty vaporizer review.
How it Works
The technology behind it is really neat. It combines convection and conduction to give you some really awesome hits.
As far as portable vapes go, this is one of the easier to use and load.
The chamber is located at the top of the device and you simply unscrew the top and load up your herbs.
There is an included device to make this even easier that will load perfectly packed bowls every time.
A large digital display on the front (about one inch by one inch) will tell you the temperature and arrow keys on either side of the display can adjust the temperature settings.
Even though the Mighty is considered a portable vape, it’s not one where you can’t just shove it in your pocket and forget about it.
While it’s not the biggest handheld vaporizer on the market by any means, in terms of portability, it’s sized right where you can just throw it in your backpack or purse (you know, the big fancy ones) and be on your way.
Ideally this guy is best used in a group setting and it’s designed in a way that allows you to easily hold, pass and handle it without any hassles. The outer shell stays cool to the touch without burning anyone’s digits off.
The Mighty Vaporizer does not have standard heat settings like many portable vapes…and I like that. Makes things easy.
Instead, the digital display and arrows allow you to select any temperature you want at any point during your sessions. The range of temperatures is between 105 °F – 410 °F, allowing you to choose your effects with precise calculations.
One thing that is absent from the Mighty is a smartphone app like the Crafty has, but to be honest, the Mighty doesn’t really need one since it has the digital display.
The heat up time can be as high as 2 minutes, which is not terrible, but also not great.
On average, many high-quality portable vapes can heat up as quickly as 60 seconds, so this is something to be taken into account for on-the-go vaping.
Using it With Oils
Even though it’s not ideal to burn oils with it since it only goes up to 410°F, as far as herbs go, there’s just no comparison – Storz and Bickel (the guys that made it) really hit this one out of the park.
Due to the unit having 2 rechargeable batteries, you can get up to 90 minutes of vaping time from one charge.
That is a great battery life, but to make it even better you can use the Mighty while it is charging.
If the battery is fully depleted, it may take longer to heat up, but this is to be expected. There is no USB charger, but a standard wall charger is included.
From a complete dead-stop, the batteries will take around 2 hours to fully charge.

How to Take Care of It
Like any vaping units, be sure to brush out and clean the chamber after every use and while it is still warm.
This should become as natural as breathing if you want to make sure you get the most out of your herbs and vapes.
You can easily clean the cooling unit be separating it and using rubbing alcohol or warm water (with a little dish soap) and cotton swabs.
Final Thoughts and PV Pro Tips
Storz and Bickel really hit a home-run with this one.
Great draws, consistent thick vapor, nice throat hit, and idiot-proof – I mean you can’t really ask for anything more when it comes to vaping.
If you want a lot of the same pros in a smaller packaging for more discreet vaping, then check out the Crafty Vaporizer.
One thing I’ll say is that this is definitely not the cheapest portable out there, so if you don’t have the scratch to lay out, you should check out some other options.
But if you’re someone that has the money (or has saved up waiting for the right one to come along), it honestly comes with my highest recommendations.
